NEW FRONT GATE AND BOARDWALK...THE CONTAINERS ARE OLD HOP BINS FROM A FARM IN MOXEE, WA. PANSIES AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT "PLASTIC SQUIGGLY TREES" YES REAL PLASTIC WITH A COPPER TUBE TO REPRESENT THE TREE TRUNK...WEATHERS THE SUN, WIND, SNOW AND RAIN...AND STILL LOOKS BEAUTIFUL...

BACK PORCH...THERE'S AN OLD DOOR LAID ATOP THE FRAME

SO NO ONE FALLS THROUGH. WOW, REAL STAIRS!!

THE METAL SPINDLES WERE FROM A GARAGE SALE...GOT ALL OF THEM FOR $11.00. SUCH A DEAL...SURE CLASSED UP THE BACK PORCH. ROYAL BURGANDY CHERRY TREE WITH DOUBLE PINK BLOSSOMS IN THE RIGHT CORNER OF PHOTO. PLANTED 4 OF THEM. WILL HELP TO SHADE THE WEST SIDE OF LITTLE CABIN.

One of my major concerns....No official place for the toilet paper...I spent weeks and weeks commiserating where or where would the toilet paper go?

The smaller nested table fit perfectly next to the toidy as a TP holder...I was thrilled!! No more on the counter top or hanging over the cabinet dooooorrrr!

COMPLETED. NEW COUNTERTOP, NEW BOWL SINK, LIGHT IS FLOATING ON TOP OF MIRROR. KNOBS RELOCATED...

HAND PAINTED WALLS TO DISGUISE OVER 30+ HOLES AND SCARS.

Bathtub - needs no explanation....

Refurbished metal strip around the tub...new formica, new faucets and shower head.

Close up of the living room wall. There used to be eleven alternating strips of mirror and wood, do you think I'd remember to take a picture...hello!!

One day at Costco I saw "THE FIREPLACE" oh my god, she was beautiful...perfect width, perfect height...I went back 3 times before I could bring myself to pay full price...Here she sits...electric, flames the whole banana...dontcha just love the mirror?!!

I could never have completed the inside of the cabs without the new mini foam paint rollers. Cut my time down to half.

No more knobs in the center of the kitchen cabinets...yahoo!!

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: The mattress and box springs were propped up in the kitchen so I dropped them flat on the floor and slept. Lots of times I had worked so late into the night and was so tired that I just plopped onto the mattress clothes and all. Slept like a log. NOTHING BETTER THAN SLEEPING TO THE SOUND OF THE RIVER!!

The previous owners had left behind alot of furniture and miscellaneous items. holes in the walls...and MICE!!!

The old front door was actually an interior door in which a window had been fitted and a human sized doggy door had been placed. The first night of sleeping there, I piled everything big and heavy I could find, in front of it.

THE LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN FLOOR...Lumber Liquidators, maple laminate...$.78 cents a square foot. I had never laid laminate......strained nerves, sweat, tapping with blocks, no square walls...did I mention the cussing? ... it looked so easy on DIY!!!
