WINTER 2008

WINTER 2008
WINTER 2008

The right side of my original photos are blurry....why you say? The day I took them I was so tired from working that I thought my eyes were tired and not focusing. In reality it was a finger smudge on the lens of the camera. Got a kick our of myself when I realized what had happened.

August is not a good time of year to begin remodeling a mobile home. Especially one that has 2 barely working air conditioners, both scarcely hanging from the windows in which they were placed. The weather was in the 100's and my little tuna can reeked of leftover odors from cigarettes and a dog...not a good picture.

My role model for this endeavor... MY AUNT MARY, who encouraged me all along the way by listening and laughing with me. She was a fixer-upper and remodeler...and I would follow in her footsteps!?!

Hi, I came over from Brenda's blog because your little cabin is wonderful. Just curious, it appears that your own the land, not in a park? Is that correct? That would make a huge difference in costs as lot rent goes up just like apartment rental. You truly did a beautiful job, love the deck and the view! OH my! which makes me belive no way is that a mobile home park. We live in a manufactured home in FL but in a 55+ park that is why the interest. Again, lovely job, lovely home. I too am really interested in the desk make over and guest room. I love French decor.

I am so inspired! A friend just introduced me to your blog because she knew I just moved into a 1976 mobile home that I am trying to remodel bit by bit. Sometimes it seems impossible. I am so happy to find someone else who has done it! Thank you for the inspiration.
